Table of contents
Introduction
The VidOnt ontology takes a step toward the standardization of video annotations. VidOnt provides the potential of machine-processable video sharing on the Semantic Web, making automatic description generation and transformation possible. Moreover, the VidOnt ontology significantly contributes to the improvement of video searching on Web 2.0. The classes, properties, and relationships defined by the ontology can be used not only by searching services, but also for classification and distribution. The VidOnt Ontology can be used by video studios, people in the film industry, merchants, as well as individual professionals.Classes
